Calculation is based on following parameters .

• Hot water out put of a 25 litre water heater is 40 litre @ 40 °C ( normal bathing temperature is considered as 40 °C)
• Considering 20 litre per person per day, for a family of 2 people, a 25 litre water heater need to be operated once a day
• Savings (in Rs.) is calculated assuming Rs. 7/unit
• TDS value is taken as 1800 ppm .
